Yoga Nidra is a gentle guided meditation into the realm where full relaxation occurs. Literally translated Yoga Nidra means ‘Sleep of the Yogi’. The mind however, stays awake. This allows you to shift your awareness from being fully awake into a conscious sleep-like state. Your journey will start with paying attention to your senses and your body, and you will move you through awareness of the breath, bodily sensations and thoughts; taking you all the way to an awake dreamlike state and rest, that mimics deep sleep.

At the Womanhood Studio Yoga Nidra sessions are practiced in our Aerial hammocks. The hammock reduces pressure on your body, and will give you support and comfort so you can fully release and relax.

No experience needed, both men and women are welcome.

Please wear comfortable and warm clothes (bring warm socks!). To keep our hammocks safe and clean we ask you not to wear clothing with buttons or zippers and to please remove make-up before coming to class!
